Tiger Fishing Memories operates fishing trips on the picturesque waters of the Komati river, which is home to numerous species of fresh water fish, the most famous of these being the tiger fish (Hydrocynus Vittatus). Tiger fish have interlocking, razor-sharp teeth, along with streamlined, muscular bodies and are extremely aggressive and ferocious predators, who often hunt in groups... an awesome fish to catch on light tackle and fly fishing equipment
The African tiger fish is the first freshwater fish recorded and confirmed to attack and catch birds in flight. View our gallery and see the beautiful 4-6kg tigers being caught with us.
